Flash is a dying platform. Okay, for some sites it might serve a valid purpose, but the fact is for most endeavors a Flash website is actually a detriment rather than an asset, especially since Apple's iPhone and iPad do not support it. Several years ago, we developed a Flash-based website for the Roseland Ballroom, but recently, we have completely overhauled their website as a non-Flash, SEO-friendly Content Management System with a new look and features the Roseland Ballroom staff can update on their own. A La Vieille Russie is one of our favorite clients. One reason being, we get to work with such beautiful items. For our last project we created a 2-page ad (spread). Photography of course was a key element. These ads look simple but are comprised of many shots in order to get the best result. We did not agree with the client when it comes to the background color, but we now must admit that sometimes the client is right and this is becoming one of our favorite colors!
