4th Grade eNews

We had so much fun at Kyya Chocolates this week.  We hope everyone gets rested up and a very blessed Thanksgiving.  This newsletter has the two days for next week, as well as, the week returning from break.

Next Week November 20th & 21st

  • Bible:  Thanksgiving (no verse)
  • Spelling: No spelling words
  • Reading & Language:  Narrative Writing about a cause and effect
  • Math:  Review division
  • Social Studies: STEM Activities
  • Science:  STEM Activities

For the Week AFTER Thanksgiving

  • Bible - We will be exploring about God Incarnate 
  • Verse - John 1:1,14 “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God… The Word became flesh and took up residence among us. We observed His glory, the glory as the One and Only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.”
  • Spelling – Unit 14:  ready, already, meant, instead, breakfast, build, built, enough, touch, young, laugh, bread, spread, death, ahead, heavy, sweater, rough, tough, flood
  • Language - Supporting paragraphs
  • Reading – Beginning Theme
  • Math – Division (PLEASE BE PRACTICING AT HOME)
  • Social Studies – The American War of Independence
  • Science – Electricity and Magnetism
