Admissions + Financial Assistance Marketing Campaign
Applications for the 2020–2021 school year at Crofton House are now open and our Admissions team is busy with group tours, open houses and interviews. To support admissions, this year’s marketing campaign is focused on raising awareness of financial assistance available to new students entering Grade 8. It is a digital campaign so you might see the ads, like the one below, online or on social media. The best way for new families to get to know us is through our community. Encourage those who are interested to register for an upcoming admissions open house. If you have any questions about the admissions process, please contact
Richard Cohee, Director, Admissions.
Conversation with Admissions
CHS families are invited to join the Admissions team on Tuesday, October 22 at 8:30 am for an informal Q&A at the Nocente Family Fireplace Lounge. Richard Cohee, Director, Admissions, and his team will lead a discussion about the admissions process and financial assistance for new students entering Grade 8 and parents will have the opportunity to ask questions. Please RSVP by Friday, October 18 to attend the session.

Photo Retake Day
Photo retakes will take place Friday, October 18 in the Chee Family Foyer. Retakes are done to improve photography, for example, eyeglass glare, poor posture/head tilt, eyes closed, or uniform infraction. The retake will replace the student's original photo (no choice between the two photos will be available). If you have already ordered a photo package, you may return it at the time of retake. Students who miss both photo days and retake day can visit Artona studio Saturday, November 16, 10:00 to 3:00 pm. No appointment necessary.

Senior School Service Event
The CHS Parents’ Auxiliary invites Senior School girls and their parents to be part of the first Senior School service event of the 2019–2020 school year. In partnership with Cooking for a Cause, a local organization that prepares and distributes wholesome food to vulnerable people in our community, Senior School students and parent volunteers will prepare and package nutritious snacks and meals for Vancouver residents living with food insecurity. Food and packages will be assembled over two days. Spaces in this popular program are limited and will fill quickly. There are still spots available for meal preparation and delivery on Thursday, October 17 from 3:30 pm to 7:00 pm. SignUp to participate.
Babysitter Directory Annual Sign-Up
Students from Grade 8 to 12 who are interested in babysitting for CHS families can sign-up for the Babysitter Directory. The directory contains the name, contact info, and qualifications of available sitters. PLEASE NOTE: Students need to be registered for the directory annually, inclusion in the directory does not roll over from year to year.
Grab and Go
All payments for purchases from the Grab and Go will be made via student account, effective immediately. Students should have their student card with them (or a photo of their card) to purchase items. CHS parents can purchase items using a photo of their daughter's student card. As there are very few purchases made by cash by students or parents, limiting purchase to account only will increase efficiency at the till.
