  Officer Training Webinars

Help get your executive student board off and running! New executives can spark positive changes and help influence your program from years to come. Make sure they understand their new roles and responsibilities. Webinar includes: Constitutional review, roles/responsibilities, running effective meetings, and event planning and evaluation.   Okay2Say Student Ambassador Executive Committee

Student leaders: we want you! Student voice and advocacy are essential components to creating a safer, more productive school environment. Apply to work with the Okay2Say student safety program and MASC/MAHS to:
  • Help develop and lead the OK2SAY Ambassador programs in Michigan to inspire other young people to tackle issues that impact their safety and well-being.
  • Provide input to the OK2SAY Student Safety Program.
  • Attend student Executive Board meetings in Lansing
  • Develop digital resources for local school Ambassador program facilitation
  • Provide critical insight and programmatic planning

  Leadership Training Institutes – Registration Live!

Dates and locations are open for registration! This year, all sessions are based on our Leadership Curricular Standards, with sessions hitting specific learning expectations designed to engage and inspire your student leaders! Curricular Focus Areas include: Communication, Citizenship, Group Process, Leadership Styles and Organization Skills.

  Adviser 101 Workshop

To help facilitate and assist schools in creating a lasting positive impact in their building, MASC/MAHS Michigan Student Leadership is providing a free "Advising 101" training to all new member advisers across the state. This year’s Adviser 101 will be held on October 10th from 12:00-3:00 in Lansing. The exact room information will be sent to all interested advisers a week before the event. Space is limited, reserve your spot and register here!

 
  Student Legislative Day

Another great student experience is coming your way! Student Legislative Day will take student leaders interested in Government on a full day adventure at the Capitol. We'll start with a guided tour of the state Capitol building, then move to group meetings with legislative staff, lobbyists and legislators, and we'll wrap up by sitting in on a live legislative session!
