Chinese-American Planning Council, Inc.

Thank You for Supporting CPC Brooklyn Harvest Moon Benefit!

On the evening of October 23rd, the Chinese-American Planning Council (CPC) hosted our Brooklyn Harvest Moon Benefit at the New Phoenix Seafood Restaurant. The benefit brought together nearly 500 guests to celebrate our community and raise funds for CPC's Brooklyn initiatives. This critical funding allows CPC Brooklyn Community Services to continue our transformative work for more than 20,000 Brooklynites each year — from our after school programs and older adult center to public benefits enrollment and services for people with disabilities.

The celebration honored three outstanding community leaders: Justin Brannan, Council Member of District 47; Chau Trinh-Shevrin, DrPH, Director of the Division of Health and Behavior at NYU Langone; and Arnold Gottlieb, Assistant Principal of the Franklin D. Roosevelt High School.

We were also honored to celebrate with Assemblymember Lester Chang, Kings County Family Court Judge Abayomi Ajaiyeoba, and representatives from the offices of U.S. Senator Kirsten Gillibrand, Congresswoman Nicole Malliotakis, Assembly Members William Colton and Marcela Mitaynes, Council Members Alexa Avilés and Susan Zhuang,

A special thank you to all our Board Members, Leadership Council, staff, sponsors, supporters, and allies who came out to celebrate with us! Together, we raised about $105,000 to advance CPC's mission of promoting social and economic progress of Chinese American, immigrant, and low-income communities.
