Not just 'stuff' for the holidays

We are all searching for meaningful experiences. Searching for the stories we'll tell others and ourselves about 'what we did' this past weekend.. this year.. this life. I want to make the Lintu Art experience even more meaningful by creating a program called "Weekends at Northrup King". Read below for more details.

Share the Studio

Each commissioned piece I create involves a process of connecting with the subject. I sketch, create studies, and then finalize the work on canvas or paper. It's a detailed and interesting process that I would like to share with you. For every $100 spent on a commissioned piece in 2012, there will be the opportunity for the client to come visit my studio either Saturday or Sunday and be part of the experience.  Email me at sarah.lintu@gmail.com for more information and to schedule your visit.

What does it mean?

Sharing the studio can mean a few things: a lesson in drawing/painting, a quiet space for art, or an afternoon of conversation as the commissioned piece develops. At the end of 2012, a show will go up in my studio called "Weekends at Northrup King".  My studio has multiple easels and floors that welcome paint splatter. This experience can be for you or as a gift to another. Email me at sarah.lintu@gmail.com
