KEVIN J. MORRIS IS A NEW STOCKHOLDER IN H/S
Holly and Smith Architects is pleased to announce that Kevin J. Morris is the newest stockholder in the Firm.
Kevin officially joined the H/S team in January of 2010 and serves as the Director of the New Orleans Studio. With his zeal for creating distinctive, quality architecture and his talent for collaboration, Kevin has proven himself to be the natural choice to lead the H/S New Orleans Studio and represent the Firm in this market. Over the past year and a half, the N.O. Studio has expanded the staff to 2 part time and 7 full time employees. The diversity of employees includes 4 Licensed Architects and 2 LEED Accredited Professionals.
Due to project demand and increased staff, the Studio expanded and established their “new digs” on Historic Magazine Street in the Lower Garden District. The newly renovated space offers an expansive open design studio and encourages team collaboration and exploration of material applications.
Currently, the N.O. Studio is actively involved in the Design, Development and Construction Administration for projects with Ochsner Clinic Foundation, The New Orleans Recovery School District, Loyola University and the Archdiocese of New Orleans. Additional New Orleans projects include Louisiana Facility Planning Commission- Village de Jardin Complex, Post Headquarters at Jackson Barracks, John Curtis Christian School and several projects for The University of New Orleans.
Overall, the Firm has 32 staff members including Architects, Interior Designers and LEED Accredited Professionals. Through the collaborative dynamic structured between the New Orleans and Hammond Studios, the Firm is able to strategically offer an enhanced diversity of culture and staff, custom tailored to address the specific individual needs of the client and thereby satisfy project goals and objectives on a regional scale.
We are excited to have Kevin onboard and welcome him as our newest shareholder.
