PreK-4 (5-Day) eNews

The children have been working hard on a special Christmas Book to share with family and friends.  This special Christmas Book helps them tell the story of Christmas and has our memory verses of Luke 2:10-12 in it.  They are so proud of it, and can’t wait to share it with you!

Thank you homeroom moms for coordinating Christmas parties, supplies and snacks.  We are hopeful that sometime in 2021, parents will be able to participate in the special days with us!
Next Friday, a progress report will be in your child’s folder.  We look forward to sharing with you all they have learned this first semester!

• Bible Verse: “The angel said, don’t be afraid, I have great news! Today a Savior was born for you in the city of David. This will be a sign; you will find the baby wrapped in cloth and lying in a manger” Luke 2:10-12 We will add our third verse this week.  Please help your child memorize these special verses at home too.

• December 18 - Christmas sweaters, sweatshirts, shirts, for $1 to buy goats for Baptist Global Relief.                                    
• December 18 - Christmas parties in the classroom.        
• December 18 - Early Dismissal at 12:45 (we will dismiss 15 min. earlier than elementary to allow 5th grade to use the same carline at 1:00) No Extended Care. 
• Christmas Break - December 21-January 1

• Please label all jackets/sweaters.  There are a lot of navy jackets/sweaters to keep up with in the classroom, and a name on the label is very helpful. 
• Tennis shoes are required each day.
• Please have at least one extra gaiter or face mask in your child’s backpack.
