Nourish: Young Adult and Campus Ministry Leadership Conference

June 26-29, 2016 at the Maritime Center in Baltimore

Nourish: Young Adult and Campus Ministry Leadership Conference is an Episcopal conference for leaders in ministry with young adults on and off college campuses. We hope this gathering will be a time when leaders who are new to this work, as well as those who have longstanding roots in this ministry, will meet and connect with one another in order to be nourished and nurtured in ministry with young adults.

Our goal is that “Nourish” participants will:

  • Be nourished by what they hear and experience during our time together
  • Connect and reconnect with others involved in this ministry
  • Be better equipped to engage young adults where they live, work, and study
  • Learn from one another and share resources
  • Build upon their skills and networks to assist them in ministry
  • Leave feeling that they have feasted at the table and are ready to do the work that God has called them to do

We will hear from speakers, focus on intentional conversations, build relationships, and learn from one another.

Young Adult Pilgrimage to Ferguson

In October 2015, The Episcopal Church and the Union of Black Episcopalians cosponsored an event for 25 young people from around the Church who embarked on a pilgrimage to Ferguson, MO, to engage in significant learning and leadership development around issues of racial justice and reconciliation. The work and learnings from this pilgrimage continue to be published and shared.

I invite you to take the time to read the article about the pilgrimage and to watch the first video that has been released. Additional videos and learnings will continue to be published.
