Thanks for taking the time to read our newsletter during this tough and challenging time.

We globally moved to work from home on 16th of March; I’d like to take a moment to thank the team I work with for the fantastic job they have done to ensure that our customers don’t receive any disruption.

Despite the market conditions we have had a fantastic quarter with some great new customers signing up, new product features and growth into new regions. From a business perspective, we are very positive as we see a huge amount of growth as customers move towards cloud applications as their staff work remotely. Also, there has been a renewed focus on building compliance as we continue to ensure our facilities are clean and safe.

Ozland Group Solutions commenced operations as an Integrated Property Services Company in 2014. They are primarily focused on optimising the cost and customer experience at client properties by using the latest technology and the most qualified people. Ozland Group Solutions will manage all in house contracts through the Urbanise cloud-based system and harness the power of the Urbanise Analytics and reporting to bring real time data into the business.

Established in 2006, Dubai Investment Real Estate Company is a leading real estate and property developer delivering high quality residential, commercial and industrial assets. Urbanise will provide Strata and Facilities Management solutions across all of their communities consisting of 3406 units in Dubai.

United Development Company (UDC) is a leading Qatari public shareholding company with a mission to identify and invest in long-term projects contributing to the growth of the State of Qatar and providing good shareholder value. Established in 1999, the company was first listed on the Qatar Exchange in June 2003. UDC will use both our Strata and Facilities Management solution across their projects on The Pearl - Qatar and future projects.

Baptcare is a not-for-profit organisation that provides residential and community care for older people, support to children, families and people living with a disability, financially disadvantaged people and people seeking asylum. After a thorough tender and evaluation process, Urbanise was successfully selected to be the CMMS/Asset Management platform for the Baptcare property portfolio.

In the last quarter, the Urbanise Facilities platform has made progress in exposing our Analytics to the Customer portal/storefront.

Individual customers, FM supervisors, managers and FM clients that have access to the customer portal are able to view analytics/reports of their data. Contact Urbanise Support to enable this capability.

The Urbanise team are making further investments in Machine Learning techniques to improve operational efficiencies. Smaller yet relevant enhancements included moving Margins to Contracts, expanding on Operator invoicing controls and permissions, while the Workforce Apps now show a history of recorded assets for the user's device, including options to be able to view, update and clone recorded assets captured offline and online.

One of our goals for 2020 is to transition our remaining Strata customers to the new Urbanise Strata platform. To support that effort the engineering team is ensuring any specific regional requirements, such as specific certificates and reports, are available in the new platform. We're also implementing many of the suggestions from our users to help further refine the application.

Some regional additions include:

Information Certificate (QLD)
Disclosure Statement (QLD)
Mollak Integration (Dubai)

Enhancements based on customer feedback are:

Additional search features
More Public Strata API endpoints
Auto journal enhancements
Attaching files to work orders
Ability to see all invoices for a supplier (regardless of property)

Working on the above hasn't prevented us from implementing a bunch of great features:

Automatic increasing on management fees on a schedule
Scheduling disbursement fees to be automatically added to plans
Investment account fraud detection functions
Custom property financial notes
Tiered approval levels in Invoice Processing

Our pace of development remains very strong and we look forward to delivering more features and enhancements throughout the next quarter.
