An amazing year for the wellbeing of young people
2011 has been a year of great achievements. Shifting public attention has brought young people's mental health into the spotlight, leading to record investments in the mental health sector. The establishment of a new Cooperative Research Centre, led by the Inspire Foundation, has brought over 70 partners together to find out how technology can be leveraged to enhance the wellbeing of young people.
Here on ReachOut Pro this focus and research has provided more resources we can use to help health care professionals to understand how young people are engaging online, and how we can use spaces like ReachOut.com to support their mental health and wellbeing.
Read on for highlights of new content and developments you can use to support the mental health and wellbeing of young people.

ReachOut Pro brought a team of young people to the Youth Health 2011 Conference in Sydney - the 8th Annual Australian & New Zealand Adolescent Health Conference.
We asked them to gather perspectives from young people on how they currently seek help, and what they get out of being online versus offline when seeking support for their mental health and wellbeing.
To find out what they had to say, check out the video, now live on ReachOutPro.com.au
