Don’t forget – NO SCHOOL on Monday. We are out for President’s Day! Thanks to everyone helping to make our Valentine Party a success. We had a great time!

Next Week

Bible – We are continuing to learn about Daniel. This week our focus will be on Daniel 6.
Verse - Joshua 1:9 “Haven’t I commanded you: be strong and courageous? Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”
Reading – We will be reading Dex, the Heart of a Hero. Our graphic tool will be Compare/Contrast.
Phonics – Words with or, ore - horn story fork score store corn morning shore short born tore forget for more report force
Spelling- We will not have spelling words this week, due to the short week and we will be at main campus Friday.
Grammar – We will be using commas in a series.
Math – Multiplying with 1, 0, 3, 4, and 10.Please be going over subtraction and addition math facts at home with flash cards.

Important Dates

February 19 – NO SCHOOL – President’s Day
February 23 - We will go to main campus to see 3rd grade’s Wax Museum, tour the campus, and have lunch. Students may bring their lunch or $4 for a school lunch.
February 27 - Discover Shiloh Dinner Event for prospective families - 6:00 PM at Springdale Campus
February 28 - Wacky Wednesday to celebrate Dr. Seuss!March 2 – Morning with Mom/Art Fair 7:30-8:00 in Foyer
March 7 – Spring Picture Day –Students may free dress modestly or dress code
March 15 - Student Led Conferences 3:30-5:30
March 19-23 - NO SCHOOL – SPRING BREAK
March 29 - Easter Chapel at 8:30 in the Cross Church Sanctuary, this is not an early dismissal day
April 9-13 – This will be the week of TN3 testing –Please do not schedule any doctor or dentist appointments during this week if at all possible. We do not make up tests.
