Join us this weekend as Matthew Aldrich and Janice Barrett share highlights and their experiences from 2019 mission trips at all three services. Winter State of the Church Meeting & Potluck: You are invited to MVCC's amazing upcoming congregational meeting next Sunday, January 26th from 6:00-8:00pm. There will be a vote on the hiring of Jermaine Keller, our Ballenger Creek Campus pastor candidate and for returning elders Albert Chin and Mike Barrett, and to reaffirm Leif Dahl as Elder. We will also hear an update on our 10-year Vision, Frederick for Christ.

Please plan to bring a dish to share during a potluck dinner. Last names starting A-L main dish, M-S a side, and T-Z bring desserts. Childcare is available through age 5.

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Event: 

Come out Monday evening, January 20th, @ 6:00pm as we pay tribute to the life and influence of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

The Messiah Gospel Choir will be singing and special guest, Pastor Michael Martin from Baltimore, will be speaking. This will be an outreach to our community so please bring a friend! Childcare provided for through age 5.

Groups Launch: We weren't meant to do life alone. God made us to connect relationally and grow spiritually; that's what groups are all about.  Groups Launch is the time to take those next steps to grow spiritually and connect relationally. Signups start the weekends of January 25-26 and February 1-2. Because life is better together.

MVU, FPU, WORLDVIEW, and YOU: Mountain View University returns soon to teach and equip people to: (1) Know God and His Word, (2) Live out one’s faith in the world, and (3) Serve God with your Gifts. We offer courses in Bible/Theology, Ministry Training, and Life Development. This Spring, MVU will run each Tuesday beginning February 4th at 6:30pm-8pm through Tuesday April 7th. Courses offered are:

Summer Camp: This summer we are excited to attend SUMMER CAMP!: June 29th to July 3rdGo Crossings is located in Kentucky. We are offering this to students currently in grades 7-12. There are several opportunities available: serving breakfast to the first responders at Westview Fire Station, visiting with the residents at Pleasant View Nursing Home and praying to end abortion near the Planned Parenthood Clinic.
