No images? Click here Greetings from Tom!If you don't like something, change it; if you can't change it, change the way you think about it.” My Friends, We are all part of an unprecedented event that will permanently alter our thinking, our decisions, and our behaviors. This has already altered how our customers think about us, and what they expect from us. What we have done in the past to create customer satisfaction and long-term relationships will not be sufficient any more. The time for change is now. I've spoken with dozens of owners and salespersons in the past few weeks and have appreciated their positive attitudes and willingness to adapt to the challenges we all face. They have questions on how to move forward, and I am sure you do too. One of those challenges is making a sales call. Some are still going in the home, but with gloves, mask, shoe covers and tyvek suit. Others go in the home and never see the customer. In more cases than not, however, the customers just don't want to see us right now. But wait! Some of you have figured out that you can interact with your customers...virtually! You can use FaceTime, Zoom, GoToMeeting...there are plenty of resources at hand. You can take photos or video, fill out questionnaires, send texts and more. We are not shut down, we just have to adapt. Join me, along with others who have the same vision, on a 45-minute webinar discussion next Thursday at 2:00 PM Central, to hear what others are doing on their calls to create success, and please be willing to share what you have tried. Onward! Tom PS. I have had the very good fortune to work with Ron Smith and he was generous enough to invite me to co-teach a workshop. The title? How to Thrive in a Challenging Economy. The message wasn't about survival, it was about meeting the challenges with intention to create something extraordinary. I hope you think and feel the same way. See you this Thursday. The Virtual Sales CallThe Virtual Sales Call is an open webinar with ample time for questions and sharing, and will include Rick Picard and Dan Piscitelli, HVAC Specialists at Rodenhiser Home Services, Greg Kippen, Comfort Advisor, Schaafsma Heating and Cooling, Brigham Dickinson, Founder and Inspirational Leader at Power Selling Pros and Mark Sims, President of Chameleon Management Solutions.
