This week we enjoyed learning some things about the big, big world that we live in. Ask your child some facts about the sun, moon, stars and earth...they know several! How cool that the Earth is spinning round and round every day, but we don’t even feel it! There are so many things about space that are hard to comprehend (even for teachers) like how far away planets are and how large the stars are, but we do know that God is so BIG that He holds it all in His hands…and He is big enough to take care of all of us!
We encourage each child to be working on Valentines for the class. Children should only write his/her name on the Valentine cards, not who the card is for. This helps with distributing the Valentines.
Although Valentine’s Day falls on a Thursday and we have Chapel, students may wear shirts that represent “love”, along with dress code bottoms, such as khakis, navy pants, jeans. Socks and tennis shoes are required.
As Northwest Arkansas continues to grow, we want the influence of Christ to grow as well. We are doing a big push for new student enrollment for the fall semester at Shiloh. We want to bring in some like-minded families that want to raise their children in a Christian environment. Therefore, we want to partner with our current Shiloh parents so you can invite others to join the Shiloh family!
Shiloh parents will receive a $300 check in September 2019 for any student that completes the admission process, is accepted, begins attending for the fall semester, and their account is current as of September 15th. Please contact Alicia Brown at aliciab@shilohsaints.org with questions about admissions or the incentive program!
