Term 2 Is Under Way!     

Our goal is to support teachers in delivering effective and high-quality physical education to their students. One of the easiest ways of doing this is making sure teachers have easy access information on sporting clinics , sport and recreation services and professional learning opportunities. 

Sports and Recreation Events

Athletics 

LAPS is a school-based program that teaches the basic skills of track and field to primary school students. The program develops basic running, jumping and throwing skills through highly active and fun sessions delivered by current accredited coaches. LAPS is an inclusive program and can be adapted to suit any level of ability.

Tennis

ANZ Tennis Hotshots Red Ball Gala Days for year 3 and 4: 

  • South/Weston – Monday 14th August – St. Edmund’s College, Griffith
  • Belconnen – Monday 14th August – Melba Tennis Club, Melba
  • North/Gungahlin – Friday 1st September – Good Shepherd Primary, Amaroo
  • Tuggeranong – Friday 1st September – Charles Conder Primary, Conde

Orienteering 

Saturday Junior League: The Orienteering Junior League events have started up on Saturday mornings. Come to some local events to give it a try with plenty of people around to help. The next two events will be at Campbell Park (20/05) and Bruce Ridge (27/05). Nature Play 

Nature Play CBR has a great set of Nature Playlists that children can do to encourage them to get out in nature!
