Training Needs Survey Results

The aim of SATIC's Member Training Needs survey was to establish industry training needs and identify any barriers to training for the SA tourism industry.

Results identified that the main training needs were for:

  1. Online bookings & social media.
  2. Working with local government & councils.
  3. Human resource management (recruitment).
  4. Customer service.
  5. Business management (business planning, budgets).

Respondents asked for training to be at reduced costs to members, to be conducted regionally and be specific to their region.

We've started implementing your wishlist and recommend you visit the SATIC Training & Event Calendar for current training options, with more to come in 2011.
