The Office of Student Affairs is now the Office of Student Affairs and Enrollment, and Nancy Youlden is now the vice chancellor for student affairs and enrollment. These name changes more accurately reflect the scope and nature of Nancy and her team’s work, the importance of enrollment to our campus and the office’s role in those efforts. It will also help guide faculty, students and the general public who have enrollment related questions.
Nominations for Chancellor’s Award for Student Achievement are open
Nominate an outstanding student for the Chancellor’s Award for Student Achievement
by Feb. 29. The recipient will be selected by committee based on academic achievement and love of learning, overcoming barriers, community service, future leadership potential, involvement in campus life and other examples of achievement. The award recipient will be honored during the May 7 commencement ceremony.

Mothers’ Room now for moms and meditation
The Mothers’ Room has been renamed and will now be used for dual purposes. The Meditation and Mothers’ Room in the Student Services Center, Room 40 (lower level) is a private, quiet space for students, employees and visitors to nurse or pump. It is also a space for members of the campus community to meditate and pray. To access the
room, please go to the Student Resource Center front desk.
The room is available 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. Monday – Friday on a first-come, first-served basis

Occupancy is limited to one person at a time
Mothers must bring their own pumps and accessories
