Canine mast cell tumours: When to worry and when/how to treat - Vet CPD event 19th Feb Mast cell tumours are the most common skin tumour in dogs. Whilst most of them are easily diagnosed and managed by surgical removal, there is a subset of mast cell tumours that can be more aggressive. This variability in clinical behaviour can be frustrating for first opinion and specialist veterinary surgeons. The goal of this lecture is to simplify the approach to mast cell tumours in dogs in terms of diagnosis, staging and treatment. The team will discuss all clinically relevant prognostic factors in a simple step-by-step fashion. The team would welcome you bringing case information on problematic cases for discussion during the session. CPD event details: Time: 7.30pm - 9.30pm New dental service launched at Anderson Moores The new dental service will be led by Matthew Oxford, who is one of only a handful of Veterinary Dentists in the UK. The service will cover routine work as well as more complex dental and oral surgery cases, including extensive maxillofacial reconstructions following trauma and oral cancer surgery. To refer or discuss a case please call 01962 767920. CRGV updateUnfortunately, we have to confirm a further 3 cases of cutaneous renal glomerular vasculopathy (often termed CRGV and sometimes known as Alabama Rot). The cases were from Urmston and Oldham (G. Manchester) and Bridgwater (Somerset). This brings the total number of confirmed cases to 207 since 2012, with 3 in 2020.
