Welcome to the Third Issue

Happy pirates onboard the Pirate Express - this beautiful team painting was done by Atomic show artist Candice Prince. I wonder why they're all giggling? Must have been a salty joke.

Atomic has been hopping in the last few months - (thankfully) the renos are almost finished on the 5,000 square foot expansion at the Vancouver headquarters, there's now more than 200 of us working in Vancouver and Kelowna, and we're in the thick of production on lots of shows, including our very own Pirate Express. Lots more to tell you about in this issue - happy reading.

First Sandwich Series event with Pirate Express voice actors.

Atomic partner Mauro Casalese has a new title, VP of Creative, and it's all part of an overall Atomic effort to support and stimulate creativity within the studio.

Pirate Express Wraps Record

Yaar! The actors' wrap party for Prate Express at Craft Beer Market.

A big thank you to the Pirate Express voice actors for supplying a big chunk of the comedy for the show, Atomic's original television series currently in production. Special thanks to Wes Swales and Koko Productions for engineering the sounds and to Terry Klassen for voice directing all the gods, demigods, leprechauns and pirates to greatness.

Staff Art Show

Deanna Lanier, with her poster prints Paranorman and Swing Clowns Swing.

Atomic held its first Staff Art Show on April 25th at the Beaumont Art Studio. More than 25 of the studio's talented crew hung their art for both a private and public viewing, as well as drinks and music. A wonderful night was had by all.
