The Sparks Shamrock Shuffle will be a 5k fun run for runners of all levels and with a start and finish near Great Basin Brewery. Wear your best Leprechaun outfit, paint yourself green, or just show off the "Irish" in you on a festive run through downtown Sparks.
Deadline for online registration: March 15, 2013 at 8pm. Your registration will include a good Irish beer or root beer, a running shirt, and a digital download photo too!

The Great Basin Brew-Off is a competition organized by the Washoe Zephyr Zymurgists for homebrewers of all experience levels. Entrants receive written feedback from certified judges, which includes valuable suggestions on how to make future batch improvements. First, second, and third place medals are awarded in each style grouping, and the overall winner, the “Best of Show”, gets the honor of brewing the entry with the professional brewers of Great Basin Brewing Company and having it entered in the premier national professional brewers competition, the Great American Beer Festival, held in Denver, Colorado each fall.

Visit www.wzzcomps.net to review rules, categories, and other important information, and to register your entries. All entries must be registered on this website by 5pm on Saturday, April 20, 2013. A $5 fee per entry applies.
Entries will be accepted at the shipping and drop-off location beginning at 10am on Saturday, April 13th and 5pm on Saturday, April 20th.
