Barnard College Construction Update - May 19, 2016

Dear Neighbor,

We hope you enjoyed the atmosphere around Morningside Heights these past few days as we celebrated commencement with our graduates and their families and friends. The construction team has made great progress in the past few months, and we thank the entire community for your collective patience and cooperation. We know we have had to adjust the schedule a few times based on the realities of construction, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this has caused.

During the summer, we will update you every two weeks unless we have a change in plans that warrants a special update – so look to hear from us again on June 2nd.  In addition, we are working on plans to host drop-in hours once a month through the summer for those who might have specific questions about the construction project. We will publish those dates in the June 2nd update. 

As a reminder, we will not be doing construction during the three-day Memorial Day weekend, but as we have mentioned before, we are currently scheduled to work Saturdays through June 18. Please see the schedule below.

Construction Schedule

  • Monday – Thursdays: 8 a.m. – 6 p.m.
  • Fridays: 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.
  • Saturdays: 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. (Workday Saturdays include May 21, June 4, June 11 and June 18)
