Constitution Pipeline Moves West

Left Hand Turns onto Preamble Point Limited

Monday, April 21, water pipeline construction on Constitution Avenue will progress west, with the boundaries of active construction shifting to Piros Drive on the east and Tutt Boulevard on the west. 

Center medians have been removed in Constitution Avenue to facilitate movement of traffic. Westbound Constitution Avenue is expected to remain a single lane during this phase of construction.

Motorists traveling west on Constitution Avenue will not be able to turn left on Preamble Point; motorists driving north on Preamble Point will still be able to turn left or right on Constitution. This should be in affect until early summer. 

Repaving activities will continue along Constitution Avenue for the next several months. Motorists and pedestrians should use caution in this area and follow safety signage.
