Discussion :: Sports Injury Prevention in Youth Athletics

Therapeutic Associates Redmond Physical Therapy will be partnering with Central Oregon Pediatric Associates on September 22, to provide a discussion group on the growing incidence of knee and other injuries in youth athletics. During this FREE 1 hour talk, a physical therapy specialist and pediatric specialist will be providing injury prevention techniques as well as training suggestions to help lower the risk of injury during athletic play. In addition, they will also provide helpful guidelines on when to seek professional care from a Pediatrician and/or Physical Therapist in the case of an injury.

During this FREE 45 minute talk, a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine will be discussing the topic of ‘Nerve Pain’, and will provide information on what it is, how to identify if you have it, and what you can do about it. In addition, a Physical Therapist will be providing information on self-help techniques for pain management.
