OASIS data are collected as part of the comprehensive assessment required by the Medicare CoPs. This data collection is obtained through a combination of observation, interview and other relevant strategies. The OASIS-C Guidance Manual states that when assessing physiologic or functional health status, DIRECT OBSERVATION is the preferred strategy. This webinar will focus on the OASIS items that are best and most accurately answered by utilizing observation rather than interview.
