With the New Year creeping up, we wanted to reflect on how positive 2017 has been for Albany and our candidates.  While we made some exciting changes that helped to make this year a great one for us, we’d love to hear how you think we have done this year, and find out what we can do to improve our service.  Please take a couple of minutes to complete our online survey. All surveys received by the 19th December will be entered into a draw to win £50 of Amazon vouchers in time for Christmas!

Albany hopes that you have had a successful 2017, and that after a festive period filled with fun Christmas parties and a few days of relaxation, you’ll contact us on 020 3874 3740 for a career review to discuss your aspirations for 2018!  Our office will be closed from the 22nd December – 2nd January, so we are still busy filling our diverse range of opportunities.  If you are looking for a new role, please contact us before we break to get the ball rolling in time for the new year.

New Year, New Us!

What an eventful year it’s been for Albany!  In May we moved to Monument after 10 years in Mortimer Street.  We’re loving our new location close to the City, plus it has great transport links for candidates and clients.

Then in June we welcomed a new consultant to the team - Lils Collingwood! Lils focuses on event operations roles, from graduate to event director level. She has had a very successful start, meeting hundreds of new candidates and placing 76% of roles to date!

"Albany Appointments is an events sector specific recruitment company, which gave me confidence in using their services due to their knowledge of the events industry across salesproduction, operations and marketing. My experience with them has been fantastic! From feeling supported and listened to in my initial interview as to what I was looking for in my career; to interview preparation questions and being placed in under a week! Once I began my new role, it was clear that I was a great fit for it and Albany regularly checked in to ensure everything was going smoothly in the first few days and weeks.

Albany is one of the few recruitment companies I felt actually listened to what I was looking for in a role and were honest about what they had that matched your experience and expectations as a candidate"
