And, "what about the milongas?"
A trip to Buenos Aires would not be complete without going to local milongas. There are so many milongas in town, that the Argentines have invented the word ‘milonguear’, which means ‘touring milongas’. You surely want to know what a ‘cabeceo’ feels like for yourself.
This is why we’ve planned to go dancing in a lot of different Milongas amongst the most famous ones in the capital. Our programme includes Salon Marabu / Parakultural, De Querusa, La Comedia / Muy Lunes, Zorzal, Bilongon,
Cachirulo, la Viruta, Villa Malcolm, Gricel, El Beso, la Baldosa and many more… for unforgettable memories.
Are we visiting somewhere outside of Buenos Aires?
Your package includes a full day out of the capital to the Delta and Tigre, to get a bit of rest from busy Buenos Aires. Tigre River Delta offers an idyllic playground for everything from hiking to relaxing, fishing and swimming.
Comprised of hundreds of tiny islands, Tigre, northeast of Buenos Aires, is reachable from the city by train, then by boat. Latte-coloured waters – rich with iron from the jungle streams flowing from inland South America – and Tigre’s peaceful waterways, are the main attraction here: the delta itself (formed where five rivers come together) and its trails exploring the tiny islands, together with the stunning stilt houses and colonial mansions, offer a respite and beautiful day out of the busy Argentinian capital. All along the shorelines are signs of water-related activity, from kayaking to wakeboarding, canoeing to sculling.
We will visit an island for a full day, visit a beautiful gallery and museum, walk around, relax there and enjoy a fabulous asado (grilled meat) or fish (vegan options avail.).
And shopping?
And also lots of shopping opportunities for those who are in need of tango shoes, tango fashion clothes, music, guides and more. Your tango holidays would not be complete with a new shinny pair to bring back home! We will also visit markets selling handicrafts from Argentina, food, or anything in between.
