Item 1: Data Sharing Consent

The Data Sharing Consent questions in your nKPI form enable you to give permission for the National Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation (NACCHO), and/or your Jurisdictional Affiliate to access your service level data. If you agree to share, then they will be able to use the data for the purposes of policy development, research and summary feedback and support to organisations.

If you answered 'Yes' to the data sharing question in your December 2020 nKPI form, your nKPI data from this and previous reporting rounds will now be made available to NACCHO and/or your Jurisdictional Affiliate for their use through a set of Qlik Interactive Reports developed for stakeholders.

If you have any quetions or would like further clarification please email indigenousreporting@health.gov.au.

Item 2: OSR Workforce Profile Spreadsheet

To assist you with the July-August 2021 OSR collection, don't forget you are able to download the Workforce Profile Spreadsheet from the Health Data Portal (HDP) at any time before the reporting round opens. This will give you more time to compile your workforce information before reporting closes, and it can easily be circulated to staff responsible for this data who may not have easy access to the HDP.

The Workforce Profile Spreadsheet comes pre-populated with your Workforce data from the previous OSR for comparison, and allows you to enter your new Workforce Paid and Unpaid Positions FTE values offline, directly into the spreadsheet. An important new feature for 1 July 2021 OSR reporting is that your completed Workforce Profile Spreadsheet can be uploaded to the HDP and the three Workforce tabs will be automatically populated with the spreadsheet data. This new function will be a major time saver for many health services.

Details on how to download and use the Workforce Profile Spreadsheet are available in a quick reference guide in the User Support section of the HDP.

Item 3: Downloadable PowerPoint Presentation

If you have the Published Report Viewer role, you will be able to access a downloadable PowerPoint presentation containing all of the nKPI graphs from the three summary reports in your Qlik interactive dashboard.

If you need the Published Report Viewer role assigned, please ask your HDP User Administrator or request it by sending an email to indigenousreporting@health.gov.au.

An example of a mock presentation (showing a selection of pages only) can be found under the User Support link here.

Item 4: Webex Training for Qlik Interactive Reports

The HDP team are thrilled that increasing numbers of services are now analysing their data in near-real time through their Qlik interactive reports.

These reports can assist you and your organisation to inform service delivery, support continuous improvement, monitor and benchmark your service's progress and achieve clinical milestones.

There is a Qlik Interactive Reports User Guide available at any time through the User Support link in the HDP.

You may also schedule a Webex training session by emailing us at indigenousreporting@health.gov.au.

Item 5: Health Data Portal User Support

User support resources are available on the User Support link at the bottom of the HDP landing page, and all HDP pages.
