Our team has been working hard and we're delighted to announce the release of Version 9.15.21 of the ENDUROCADD® Software.

This update is packed full of useful features including:

• Support for exporting IFC files
• Updated layout sheets with clearly marked bracing locations and the option to insert DXFs
• Edit corner button for switching the main wall in wall corner intersections
• Modify text block button for modifying entire blocks of sheet text
• Insert button for inserting boxed hip rafters on any hip line
• Extend/Trim to truss button for extending or trimming hip rafters to selected trusses
• Extend/Trim (to any line) button for extending or trimming trusses to any line.

You must backup your system folder before installing the update. For instructions about backing up your system folder, see Backing up system files prior to installation.

Once you have backed up your system folder you can download the software update by selecting Options > System checks > Check for updates from the Toolbar in the ENDUROCADD® Software.

Firstly, we're extremely excited to announce that we've added the ability to export ENDUROCADD® job files as IFC files.

Layout sheets have received a major graphical update in this release.

Firstly, you can now add DXFs to layout sheets. This is a huge deal because it dramatically increases the amount of detail that you can include in your layout sheets, and more detail means more accuracy.

We've also added thick coloured lines to indicate the location of strap bracing and panel bracing. Strap bracing is displayed using a bold red and panel bracing is displayed using a vibrant blue.

Every wall corner includes a dominant or main wall that extends to the edge of the corner. In the image at left the wall facing in the EAST-WEST direction is the main wall.

Previously you would have to use the extend/trim wall function multiple times to switch the main walls in this corner. Now, with the Edit corner button you can change the configuration with a single click.

Additionally, we have updated the Wall data menu to allow you to change the default corner configuration.

Sheet text can be hard to read on intricate components such as small-depth intermediate floor joists. We have an option to edit the height of single lines of text, but this can become tiresome when you're editing thirty webs.

Now you can use the Modify text block button to edit the text height of entire blocks of sheet text by simply dragging a selection around all the sheet text you want to edit.

Hip rafters have also received a significant update this release.

Now you can insert boxed hip rafters on any hip line by simply selecting the start and end points of the hip rafter.

Even better, once you have inserted a hip rafter you can use the Extend/Trim to truss button to extend or trim the newly inserted hip rafter to a selected truss.

Speaking of extending and trimming roof components, you can now extend or trim trusses to any line.

This enhancement is an essential part of our ongoing commitment to allow you to create increasingly more complex roof shapes using construction lines and the Modify truss menu.
