Helping to enhance the safety of Juno Beach ![]() October 22, 2024 - Volume 7 Number 20
National Prescription Drug Take Back Day
October 26, 2024 - 10AM to 2PM The DEA's National Prescription Drug Take Back Day aims to provide a safe, convenient, and responsible means of disposing of prescription drugs, while also educating the general public about the potential for abuse of medications. The Juno Beach Police Department is an official DEA Collection Site
Too often, unused prescription drugs find their way into the wrong hands, which can lead to dangerous and tragic outcomes. That's why it's always great to see Juno Beach residents cleaning out their medicine cabinets and safely, anonymously turning in their unused drugs. Juno Beach Police Officers and Volunteers will be in the Town Center parking lot from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM this Saturday, October 26th to collect your unused medications for safe disposal. There's no need to even get out of your car—simply drive up, and we'll collect them from you. Please note that the DEA's National Drug Take Back Day does not accept needles, sharps, illegal drugs, liquids, inhalers, thermometers, biohazardous materials, or medical waste. For proper disposal of these items, check with a local pharmacy or waste disposal facility. OUR FOUNDATION NEWSLETTER
