What car does a reindeer drive?
A Triumph Stag!
We often wondered what Santa's reindeers do to unwind for the rest of the year and it would appear that some of them opted to visit last year's 27th Luton Festival of Transport. Good call Rudolph.
Well I'm sure he will be delighted to learn that this JUNE the festival will be in its 28th year and tickets are now available! Priced at a very reasonable £5 in advance you can get yours now from our website by clicking on the link below.
We look forward to seeing you there.
Don't forget!
As always be sure to check out our CALENDAR or MAP for our list of events coming up in FEBRUARY and beyond…
We have AUTOJUMBLES, CAR CLUB MEET UPS, MOTOR SPORTS, SHOWS & FESTIVALS, TOURS & RALLIES, CLASSIC and VINTAGE just to name a few. And keep your eyes peeled for more events being added to our CALENDAR every week.
A final reminder that we are closed from the 25th of December and we will be back on the 2nd January 2019 to answer any questions you may have. So until then, don't work too hard and be sure to have a Merry Christmas.
Thanks for reading.

We will happily admit that one of the real reasons we run Car Festival Booking is to read the stories our Members generously share with us. Whether it's about a classic, vintage or something less glamorous, without our Members anecdotes, Car Festival Booking wouldn't be half as fun to run.
So thanks to all those who have contributed so far and keep your eyes peeled for new stories appearing all the time on the STORIES section of Car Festival Booking.
Thanks to paulren677 for this one…
"So, this is my Rover 216 GSi. I needed a reliable car to use as a daily driver as my previous car disgraced itself by being a Ford Ka. So a good friend of mine was on the look out for a set of suitable wheels. One day out of the blue, I received a message stating he found me a car. The photos came through and it turned out to be a 26 year old Rover 200. What could possibly go wrong?
In all fairness, not much. Looking at how well it has been looked after over its 63,000 miles and 26 years, and judging by the amount of money it has had thrown at it, I'm not expecting to do much to it.
Turns out the previous owner had passed away and loved the Rover that much it it was the car that was kept in the garage to the detriment of other family member's much newer machines. The paintwork is still good, interior is still excellent and the dealer plates and stickers still remain. On a slightly interesting note, though, was the documentation in the car. The original service and warranty book filled in and addressed to Sir General Simon Cooper of Buckingham Palace. Many old invoices remain and a stamped service book.
With all this in mind, my friend secured a purchase to save it, MoT'd it and I then bought it from him. In the three months I've had it, it has provided very reliable transport. The only thing I've done is put petrol in it, and being a Honda engined auto, it does like a wee drink. I use it every single day, as I believe a car should be enjoyed, and that's exactly what happens whenever I drive it - it gets enjoyed. I've had brand new cars in the past - I am much happier driving this. Plans are to keep it totally standard, waxoyl the underside and replace the perishing CV boots and later in the year, it'll get a service. One thing is for certain, though, this car is a keeper."

WE'D LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU
We are very interested to hear of any experiences you have had at any of the events listed on our website. We're mostly looking for positive stuff e.g. is the event well organised? Does it have a good selection of vehicles? You know the sort of thing.
If you do have any stories about events you have attended and you are happy for us to share them in our newsletters then by all means EMAIL us and let us know what made the event you attended a good 'un. Just let us know whether you want to be credited for the story or remain anonymous.
As always remember to head on over to the MEMBERS SECTION of our website for more stories generously contributed by like-minded individuals. While you're there you can also feast your eyes on a truly varied selection of spectacular and unspectacular vehicles from years gone by in our SHOWCASE SECTION.
Oh and while you're here why not check out the shortlists from the Historic Motoring Awards HERE? Voting is still open for the car of the year award and there are some interesting nominees.
