Each Advent young adults from around the church write brief reflections as we enter this holy season. This year we focus on “Advent as a journey we take together toward God's kingdom and each other.” To receive a daily meditation sent to your inbox simply send an email to Melissa Harewood with "subscribe" and your email address in the subject line.
The deadline is fast approaching for the biannual 2010 student gathering in Estes Park, CO on December 28 through January 1, 2011. Join students from across the church for fun in the snow, great fellowship, some wonderful presenters, and a rocking New Year’s celebration. Register today! Regular registration ends Monday, November 15. Late registration available until December 6.
This year our office is again sponsoring a group of 10 young women and men to participate in the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women as part of the Episcopal Young Adult Delegation. Be part of this incredible opportunity to engage with state, religious, and non-profit representatives from around the world in working toward the common goals of women's rights and gender equity. Applications are due Monday, November 15, so send yours in today!
Not sure what you're doing next year but looking for an opportunity to serve and to grow? The Young Adult Service Corps is a year-long foreign service placement for 21-30 year olds in which participants are paired with a community in another part of the Anglican Communion for a time of service, discernment, and mutual learning.
