It’s not just the performers of the Fringe and Festival, nor the drivers at the Clipsal 500, but it’s the hospitality staff, the poster printers, the traffic controllers, the grandstand builders, and even the guys that build all of the weird pig statues in Gluttony. Mining is a bit the same- everyone knows the big trucks and the hard hats, but behind every mining operation is an entire sector devoted to mining equipment, technology and services (METS) that help it all run smoothly. Mining companies buy everything- from medical services to sensors to surface treatments- and if your company can provide a solution for the industry you’ll be able to compete for and win work. It’s a great space to be involved in, with a national and international market to explore and with great support from the state and federal governments. This year RESA is once again proud to be delivering the Resources Ready: Develop program, we are currently seeking companies whom wish to build their METS strategy and are interested in taking part in the six month business development program. Please contact us at resourcesready@resa.org.au
