Bill 151, The Waste-Free Ontario Act was passed earlier today, repealing the Waste Diversion Act (2002). The government has indicated that it also will finalize the draft Strategy for a Waste-Free Ontario: Building the Circular Economy within three months of this legislation coming into effect.
