When we discovered that Brooks Shoes for Kids offers 10 percent off when you buy two pairs of the same shoe (at the same time), we thought, How nice for moms of twins. So we dug around and found a few more local perks for moms with multiples. It turns out that My Gym extends a 35 percent discount (on all classes) for twins and triplets, and Babies ‘R’ Us will knock 10 percent off of anything that you buy in pairs, including cribs, car seats, strollers, bedding sets—you name it. We've also heard that Sue Darrison's Twins/Multiples Class, in the Valley, is getting so popular that pregnant mamas need to register before giving birth. Fortunately, the Pump Station has just added a Twins & Multiples Mommy and Me Group at its Hollywood and Santa Monica locations; the weekly support groups focus on the blessings and complications of feeding, bonding, and nurturing two or more babies at one time; $320 for 8 weeks.
