Every year, the Cirque de la Pointe-Sèche creates a unique, multidisciplinary circus show in a majestic outdoor venue. The 2026 edition, entitled Clafoutis, will take place from July 2 to August 29. Offering delicious treats inspired by family recipes, Grandma’s Bakery adds a special touch to the regional culinary scene in the Îles de la Madeleine. Since 2016, the bakery has been part of the Council for Anglophone Magdalen Islanders (CAMI), an organization that manages several cultural sites showcasing the heritage of the archipelago’s English-speaking community. Begun in the summer of 1926 by pioneering horticulturalist Elsie Reford, the Reford Gardens remain a must-see attraction in the Gaspésie region. Visitors can admire over 3000 species and varieties of plants arranged along pathways that combine natural scents and colours with design elements. As the only chamber music festival in Eastern Québec, Concerts aux Îles du Bic provides a welcoming setting for renowned musicians to come together and perform both famous and lesser-known pieces. From August 1 to 8, 2026, a special celebratory experience marking the event’s 25th anniversary will take place at Place du Festival and on various stages in Rimouski, Le Bic and Saint-Fabien. Opened in 1991 in the village of Tadoussac, the Marine Mammal Interpretation Centre (CIMM) is both an excellent introduction to whale watching and the perfect complement to an excursion at sea.
