New VCOM portlet: Intraday performance

An additional tool is now available at park level that supports a quick overview of the PV portfolio: Intraday performance.
This portlet is suited for all PV plants outfitted with an irradiance sensor and computes the daily performance ratio (PR) based on the irradiance energy. Each circle represents one PV system, and the size of the circle corresponds to the size of the system. For example, if a large red circle is displayed in the lower right section of the diagram the corresponding large PV plant has a low PR while irradiance is very good.

Investor view: visualization of yield losses

The investor view provides a simple and quick summary of all PV system data especially relevant for investors. The "yield forecast" portlet displays the monthly yield losses that may result from plant malfunctions or actions taken by network operators, to name just two examples. The losses are visualized as brown columns in the diagram. The prerequisite for this feature is the "yield loss calculation," which is an element in the VCOM add-on package.

VCOM add-on package

The VCOM add-on package is an extension module for the "Virtual Control Room (VCOM)" monitoring portal.
The add-on package includes the following functions:

• Performance ratio monitoring
• Yield loss calculation
• Sensor monitoring
• Optional: availability at inverter level (instead of availability at plant level)

Pyranometer SMP 11: connectivity with GND wire

The manufacturer has changed the modbus connection of the SMP11 pyranometer. A GND wire is now available as well. A specification sheet from the manufacturer is included with the product.
