Unconscious Bias & Resilience
It's important that organisation policies and practices are fair and effective. Recognising unconscious bias and its potential impacts can help improve recruitment, retention and workplace relations. Good employers want to prevent problems from arising and recognise the need to get the best out of staff without causing illness or harm.
Our new event with senior Psychotherapy Lecturer Martin J Smith Phd will help you to develop a more inclusive organisation ethos and allow you to explore these challenging and important issues.

Pokemon at Work
As you're probably aware the new mobile game 'Pokemon Go' has swept the nation and reports have already been made around how it's affecting workplace productivity with one company hitting headlines for banning it completely. If you feel that the game or social media in general is having an impact on your organisation, check out or Social Media guidance or contact us so that we can discuss your options.
New Policy Papers
We've published new policy papers on our website - 'The Road Less Travelled' discusses the use of informal approaches to conflict management and 'Older Workers and The Generalisation Game' looks at how generalisations about the characteristics and preferences of age groups at work can be problematic.
Hot weather guidance
Yesterday was officially the hottest day of the year so far with temperatures soaring to 32°C in some parts of Wales. Whilst ensuring the health & safety of your employees should be your main priority, the hot weather can sometimes cause difficulties around staff concentration and productivity. Find some handy tips on how to manage during the heat in our free online guidance.
