Queensland Healthy Kids Menu Healthy Kids Menu is an innovative healthy eating initiative from Health and Wellbeing Queensland (HWQld) designed to improve the availability and promotion of healthier food and drink on kid’s menus at cafes, restaurants, hotels, and clubs. The initiative outlines a set of nutritional guidelines to help venues make healthy food and drink options more readily available to children. These sessions are open to people living in the Logan City Council area. Check out the following session coming up next month: First Foods for Infants This free casual information session will provide information for families and carers on feeding their infants, including first foods. Workshops will discuss the importance of infants and children experiencing food texture appropriate to their age and stage of development, which will assist a child’s speech development, oral health and motor skill development. Sessions will also include practical tips on how to make food for infants.
