Greetings from your Community BoardMessage from the ChairKia ora koutou, Highlights from our latest meetingOur Community Board met on Tuesday 14 July. Some highlights of our meeting included hearing from local residents as part of our Public Forum, and approved funding for a project to protect air quality in southern Christchurch. The Board appointed Mike Mora to act as the Board's representative on the Cashmere Stream and Port Hills Working Group, which was set up earlier this year to oversee and help implement a range of actions to help improve water clarity and ecological health in Cashmere Stream, with focus on measures to control erosion from the Port Hills. We also approved proposed road and right of way names for two new subdivisions at 458 Sparks Road and 12 Quaifes Road, submitted by the developers. We also approved plans to introduce 120 minute parking restrictions on parts of Mona Vale Avenue, to improve opportunities for short stay parking in this area.
