Read more about the Radiocommunications (Compliance) Notice 2020 Update to Managed Spectrum Park Applications in Notice 65Applications have been received for radio spectrum licences in the 2.5/2.6 GHz Managed Spectrum Park (MSP) band. Potential uses for this spectrum include wireless broadband services. Since November 2010, parties interested in utilising this spectrum have been able to apply for access on a first-come, first-served basis, but with sharing processes required to be negotiated by applicants. RSM has placed a hold on the application process for licences competing with the Compass Communications Managed Spectrum Park licences covering parts of the Auckland City territorial local authority (TLA) area. This is due to pending changes to licences that will affect Park occupancy in this area. We will provide an update to this notice in our next Business Update. There were no competing applications received for the Primowireless Limited application for licences with coverage in parts of the South Taranaki District TLA area. These licences will be granted to Primowireless Limited. Read more about this application for managed spectrum park licences in Notice 65 |
