SUPPORT THE TEA PARTY - MEET THE CANDIDATES

Our next meeting is coming up on Thursday, June 23rd!  We are inviting all candidates in to speak to us (a few at each meeting).  This is a great way to learn more about them in order to make an informed decision in August and November.  Local elections are probably more important to our everyday lives; the decisions that these people make affect us directly and quickly!  We can have a lot of influence in electing good people to these positions but we need to have a good turnout at our meetings to show that we are a force to be reckoned with!  I am including the information on the speakers below:

The next meeting will begin at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 23rd at the Jackie Taylor Building, Our speakers that night will be:  Jeff Moran, U.S. Representative candidate; Jerry Bullard, State Representative District 10; Bea Coker, Columbia County Commission District 5; Chris Furst, Suwannee County Commission District 5; Matt Smith, Suwannee County Sheriff; and Michael Jenkins, Columbia County School Board District 4.
Everyone is invited to attend this meeting.  Please invite your friends and family.  Go to www.northcentralfloridateaparty.org or call 386-935-1705 or 386-935-0821 for more information.
We meet at 128 SW Birley Road, Lake City.  This is approximately 3 miles west of the I-75 interchange, on the corner of U.S. 90 and Birley Road.

Gun Raffle/Fund Raiser Coming to an End

We will be drawing for the Ruger 9mm at the Branford River Reunion on July 4th.

If you have any tickets to turn in, please either bring them to the meeting on June 23rd or call 386-935-1705 or 386-935-0821.

This is our main fundraiser for the year.  We use this money to fund the printing for the American Patriot News that is not covered by the advertisers; to purchase U.S. Constitutions to be given to History and Civics students in both Columbia and Suwannee County Middle Schools (3,000 last year); and to help support Liberty First Network with their lobbying efforts on our behalf in Tallahassee each year.

Please come to our meeting on June 23rd and purchase some last minute tickets!

HELLO PEOPLE!!

Pam Hess wrote a great article for the newest edition of the American Patriot News.  I am including it below:

Why not share it with friends and family?

I know you are out there. We put out 1600 papers every
two weeks so I know you are reading it and must believe
the message we bring to you. So where are you? As John
Kennedy said, "My fellow Americans, ask not what your
country can do for you, ask what you can do for your
country." Now is the time to get involved.
I understand your frustration....I really do. The
Republican wing of the Democratic party is killing us! We
gave the Republicans the house and senate and what have
they done for us? Not much but we can not let them
continue to do business that way. We must unite and
hold them accountable. It doesn't take that much time
and energy. The consequences of doing nothing are too
great.
Attend our Tea Party meetings. You will see we are
normal people that just happen to love our country. We
don't wear tin foil hats or have any secret codes. Right
now we are having local and state candidates come and
speak. How will you know who to vote for if you don't
know what they stand for? I dare say our local and state
elections are more important than the presidential
election. If you believe in our Constitution you know the
power belongs to the states. We just need the states to
stand up to the Federal government! So come out to hear
and to speak to the people that are running for these
positions.
We are meeting the second and fourth Thursday of each
month through August which is when the primary
election will be held. We meet at 7:00 pm at the Jackie
Taylor Realty Building at the corner of Birley Road and
Highway 90W. Join us and see what we are all
about.
