Oathkeepers/Sheriffs at March 14th Meeting

Are you concerned about the proposed gun control legislation?  Have you wondered what your sheriff’s stand will be if laws should ever be passed “requiring” gun confiscation?  Join us at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 14th when our guest speakers will be Mike Austell, the Florida State Chapter Leader for Oath Keepers, along with the sheriffs from Columbia, Lafayette and Suwannee Counties. Sheriffs are one of our last lines of defense; it is imperative that we elect men or women who are ready and willing to uphold the oath they took to support and defend the U.S. Constitution.  We will have a forum-type event with a question and answer session at the end.  Oath Keepers will have a table at our meeting with more information about their organization. As our main fund raiser this year, we are going to have another gun raffle. The gun will be a Smith & Wesson M & P 9mm ($600 value)  Tickets will be available at the upcoming meeting.  They will be $5 each, with the drawing being held at the Branford River Reunion on July 4, 2013.  Please plan on taking tickets and selling them to your friends and neighbors.  We have several projects we are working on and obviously need money to accomplish them!

Property Rights Expert to Speak in Perry on March 21st

Dr. Michael Coffman, a leading Property rights expert will speak at the Perry Woman's Club beginning at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 21st.

Dr. Coffman played a key role in stopping the ratification of the Convention on Biological Diversity (Biodiversity Treaty) in the U.S. Senate an hour before the Senate was scheduled to vote on its ratification. His maps and information have been used by local citizens across America to stop the global agenda at the local level. This includes two UN Biosphere Reserves.

Dr. Coffman has written a definitive book that is highly recommended by several conservative members of Congress that exposes the pantheistic environmentalist phenomenon; Saviors of the Earth? The Politics and Religion of Environmentalism. His two most recent DVDs, Global Warming or Global Governance and Global Warming, Emerging Science have received accolades from around the world. He has spoken to audiences in over 150 cities in America, Canada and South Africa and has participated in United Nations meetings in Europe and Africa. In 2010 he published his newest book, Rescuing a Broken America; Why America is Deeply Divided and How We Can Heal it Constitutionally.
