You may not have heard of it, but TikTok was one of 2018’s most downloaded mobile apps. Developed in Beijing, Michael Wade and Jialu Shan detail how TikTok became the first “made in China” app to take the world by storm.
Criticism that not enough women make it into the boardroom often elicits the answer that there aren’t enough women in the pipeline. And it’s a prevalent claim in the world of football. Amée Gill’s mythbusting research suggests there are plenty of women that can make it to the top – but despite a few clubs that can say they are getting the balance right, football still has a long way to go.
