Become a Founding Owner!

Dear Wild Root Market Supporter:

Wild Root Market is kicking off a Founding Owners Campaign! 

Beginning August 1st, we will begin to accept equity share payments. Those who become owners during the month of August will be distinguished as Founding Owners whose early support made it possible to advance this initiative.

We’re at a critical stage in the plan to bring a brick and mortar, community-owned grocery store to our community.  The next step is to secure a professional consultant in order to conduct a marketing/feasibility study to identify the best location for the co-op’s success. 

We’re asking everyone on our subscriber/interested friends list to contribute a first $50 installment to help fund the next step.  Usually an ownership drive asks supporters to pay their full equity share (in the case of Wild Root Market, $200), but we’re doing things a little differently in an effort to make it simple to own a share of the co-op!

While unlikely, it’s important to acknowledge that if the study were to deem the project not feasible, we would not move forward. If this were to happen, remaining installments would be cancelled and your eager participation in the market study will be recorded.

In an effort to be frugal and green, our Founding Owners Campaign will be conducted electronically.  Please recruit other potential owners by spreading this message via your social media, email, congregations, the office, etc. Ask your circles of friends, colleagues and family to consider Wild Root Market Co-op ownership. It’s up to all of us to secure owners now and into the future. 

Please print and complete the Founding Owner Equity Share Payment form which can be found on our website (www.wildrootmarket.com), and mail it with your $50 contribution by August 31st to Wild Root Market, P.O. Box 443, Racine, WI 53401. The three remaining installments will be due quarterly until the equity share is paid in full (thereby granting you voting rights). While ownership will be available at any time, only those who commit by the August 31st  deadline will be considered Wild Root Market Founding Owners.
