Research Update

Linked below is the Import-Export Report for March 2021. 

The key findings are:

  • The Import-Export report for March 2021 shows total imports down 4.6% for the month over March 2020, but up 0.1% YTD over 2020.
  • Non-alcoholic beer imports were down 13.2% in March 2021, and are down 2.3% YTD.
  • Total imports for Mexico were down 0.7% for the month and are down 0.4% YTD. Total imports for the Netherlands were down 13.3% for the month and are down 0.5% YTD. Imports from Poland were up 1381.2% in March 2021 over March 2020.
  • Comparing packaging, imports from Mexico showed draft down 48.1%, cans up 8.3% and bottles down 2.0% for March 2021. The results from the Netherlands show draft down 79.1% and bottles down 26.4% while cans were up 34.2% comparing March 2021 versus March 2020. 

The next Import-Export Report will be released on:

  • Tuesday, June 8, 2021 (Reporting for April 2021)
