Sweet Ali’s is kicking off the summer season with a special event this Saturday, June 6! We will be hosting with our neighboring restaurant, Franks on 1st, a celebration of fun summer treats. Franks will be grilling FREE sliders on our GF buns for all Sweet Ali customers who purchase ANY product in the bakery during the hours of 11:00 and 1:00.

Sweet Ali’s will be offering a 20% discount on our delicious hamburger and hot dog buns, plus our dinner and cheese rolls. They all freeze well, so stock up for the summer. ***promotion good while supply lasts.

Did someone say pie? We will be sampling our Apple, key lime, French silk pies, as well as our new product, BANANA CREAM PIE. These pies may be pre-ordered.

Varsity Rush is an all ages/levels obstacle race and competitive WOD. This year's event will be held at Frontier Park in Naperville on Saturday, 8/1. This family-friendly event also donates a portion of all race entries to local charities.

In May, CDF CEO Marilyn G. Geller represented the celiac community at the public meeting of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration Functional GI Patient-Focused Drug Development Conference (PFDD) at FDA headquarters just outside of Washington, D.C.

According to the CDF, the PFDD process, including the results from patient surveys, helps the FDA understand first-hand, independent of the opinions of their staff and the pharmaceutical companies, what types of treatments patients desire to improve their quality of life, especially if the disease is chronic, as celiac disease is.
