Glee Club Challenge

Are you a fan of Glee? Have you always wanted to belong to a Glee Club? Maybe you do already and just want a chance to perform and compete! The Jack Petchey Glee Club Challenge is a search for the best Glee Club in London and Essex and we are looking for competitors. Entering is easy, and you could be selected to perform at Regional Semi Finals and then potentially go on to the Grand Final in Central London. If you are selected you will receive professional training and a chance to win a share of £5,000 worth of prizes. Whether you're a school or youth club/group, experienced or completely new, or are an individual who wants to get some friends together then this is for you!

Listen Up - The Sequel!

Be part of Listen Up 2! Many of you will remember our "Listen Up" survey last year. Over 6,000 young people responded and our report met with an amazing response (including Prime Minister David Cameron's backing). This Spring we launched "Listen Up 2" and we need your help once more! If you're aged between 11-25 years old, we want YOU to complete our survey so your voice is heard, along with thousands of other young people's. Please help us to make those in power sit up and take notice!

Centre of the Cell

Centre of the Cell

The Centre of the Cell is now open on Saturdays - thanks to a £18,560 grant from the Jack Petchey Foundation! 5,000 people will now be able to visit the the world's first science education centre based in working medical research laboratories free of charge during 2011. Centre of the Cell aims to connect science to everyday life; alerting visitors to the wonder of human biology and inspiring the next generation of scientists. We are extremely proud to play our part in this!

Be a JPF sports ambassador!

Calling all Achievement Award winners destined for sporting success! Did you win your award because of fantastic achievement in your sport? Are you an Olympic hopeful? If so, we want to hear from you!

Over the next year the Jack Petchey Foundation aims to create a group of sports ambassadors whose stories will help us to inspire other young people to succeed. Pictured is Zoe Smith, an Achievement Award winner currently in training for the 2012 Olympics, but who started out at Bexley Europa Weightlifting Club. It's stories like this we're looking for!
