Alternatives to Hysterectomy

As many as one in nine women will have a hysterectomy. The decision to have a hysterectomy can be a difficult one for many women. A new clinic at the Olson Center for Women’s Health was created to walk women through alternatives to this major surgery so they can make the right decision for their unique needs. UNMC Medical Home Receives Certification

UNMC Physicians recently became one of the first ambulatory care organizations in the nation to receive patient-centered medical home (PCMH) certification from The Joint Commission. In a PCMH practice, care is centralized with the patient's primary care physician to reduce costs, improve quality of care as well as the patient experience. Second Annual Omaha Gives!
