The story revolves around a widow trying to transform an inherited Ramen (noodle) restaurant into something successful. With lashings of food and sex, she whips up a storm of food with the aid of a truck-driver (played by international actor Ken Watanabe). There are hilarious moments which will make you want to cook up your own noodle-storm. A visit to a whisky distillery inspires him and his mates to find a way out of their hopeless lives with ‘Uisge Beatha’ the ‘Water of Life’.
